OVERVIEW - TYPES of HOMES
Chris as Your Buyers Agent will work with you to identify what type of home you are interested in. This is my way to narrow down the search effort and save time. Many persons just can not figure out whether they want a town house or a high rise home with out looking at several homes first. That is OK too. I know of people who have made a contract on a single family detached home, then they changed their mind and purchased an eighth floor apartment home in a ten story building. It is best to avoid this, and before we buy we will try to decide what type of home you like.
Homes are ATTACHED or DETACHED. see note Detached are ON GROUND at 1 to 3 Floors. Attached are ON GROUND or MULTI STORY. On Ground are DUPLEX or MULTIPLEX. Multi Story are 1 to 3 Floors or 4 & UP Floors. |

note - Either of these can be a condominium which is not a structural thing. It is a type of land use that has multiple owners. For example a development of 80 detached homes where each person owns their own house but all 80 own all the land jointly. This is condo land use. Or a 10 floor building of 80 homes where each person owns their own home but all 80 own all the land. This is condo land use also.
