                    WHAT IS HOME INSPECTION

                                                                                        

When you buy a home, brand new or older, a home inspector will detect hidden   problems with the home  that can be fixed before closing of title. Chris will advise you when you make a formal offer, about what inspection contingencies are prudent.

When you hire inspection(s), the resulting reports will indicate what things the seller must do (or choose to cancel the offer). Since offer contracts are contingent on the home passing the inspections, sellers often want to know about problems before the house goes on the market, and have them fixed. We can perhaps take a look at their inspection reports.

Chris may be able to suggest some inspectors who belong to one or more  recognized Florida  associations such as  'The Florida Association of Building Inspectors' which encourages public confidence  in its members by requiring  passage of a written examination and adhering to the FABI’s Standards of Practice, and Ethics. Members also attend regular seminars and workshops to keep their proficiencies current.
