Now, we start looking at homes in a car by driving to the area and driving past, sometimes ‘entering’ the house for viewing. Southwest Florida market has turned to ‘buyers market’ so the selection is very good; (and this can be a trap to ‘over shop’). But the probability of finding a ‘good deal’ is way up from past years.
Chris as your Buyers Agent wishes to take you to select homes for your inspection. Treat this time as fun time but make the most of any time you are viewing homes. Chris will be helpful to make each viewing count and insure we all learn from each home shopping experience. We will have our note books with us and try to remember to make some notes as we move along. We will drive to homes that we have selected (by computer) as real possibilities. But this on site inspection will be a learning experience as we will surely visit homes that we felt we would like but upon closer inspection we do not like at all. What we must protect against is to miss visiting homes because (from the computer) we feel – no way, we will not like these homes; but if we would have gone, we would have found our dream home. Chris as your Buyers Agent will be on guard to not let this happen to you.
THIRD -- TIE BREAKING
We will likely find many homes that you would like to have as your home. We will 'not' let any one know this. (such as the owners or the owners agent) . We can get excited in private. For my wife and I, this is the time we start ranking homes we like a lot by considerations of: which yard is best for our living style, our furniture arranging best in which house, do we want this as our new neighborhood, how are the close by neighbors.
